I've got another question about i900 - anything bluetoothed goes directly to device and in the case of big files it simply wont save as the device memory is obviously to low, so
ss there any possible way all my info that gets sent to my phone either by sync bluetooth or download will automatically save to the 16Gb memory built in to the device??

Hi there,
You could use Windows ActiveSync. It is freeware from Microsoft for all Windows OS powered phones, like Samsung Omnia SGH-i900. You could try to Google it. After you have installed the ActiveSync on your XP / Vista PC, you could attach your phone to your PC through USB cable. After that, you computer should recognize your phone and you could access your phone through "My Computer".

I've got a SGH-i900 and try to sync via bluetooth (BT app BlueSoleil) the conection seem ok but ActiveSync dont want to find the phone @#$%%$@#$%?!#$ this drives me crazy. Via USB it works. Someone knows a solution?

Try download the latest ActiveSync (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync...). It works way better than older version of ActiveSync

Hi all,
I am unable to get any music from my PC to i900 via USB and active sync.
It says that memory (8GB) is full.
My i900 came with internal 8GB, but I don't know how to get music onto it.
Any ideas at all?

Neil,
If you go under Settings - Connections - USB Connection Mode - Change the setting from ActiveSync to Mass Storage. You will then want to go on your computer and open My Computer, there you should find your 8GB under Devices with Removable Storage

Tried the active sync but got message saying that it was 'unable to resolve' the files.
Will now try Dereks suggestion, phone currently on charge... again so will have to test it later.
The manual for this phone is useless!

i just bought this Omnia SGH i900
so i really dont know all the stuff in it yet, and i only use internal memory if i'm not wrong the 16GB one, i dont have the external.
ok 1st each time i took a pic/video it's saved automatically in this Device thingy (sorry i'm soooo behind with the whole tech thing lol)
i can't even move it to any folders, so i made "new ALbum" and still cant be moved to that New Album, i tried to "Edit - Copy/Cut - Paste" to the New Album but once i deleted the one in the device well the one in the New Album also gone uuuggghhh
then another problem i browse things with it and after i done i closed everything and when i want to open the camera it says "not enough Video Memory, please close all application & try again" , i closed everything and the same warn keep showing up, so i turn off the phone and turn it on again and the camera work *frustrating much*
anyone know what i should do?

hi, is there any way to copy mP4 tunes onto this device. I managed to get 1 album across ages ago when i 1st tried it for fun, but now have got no clue how it happened.
I've tried copying into DCIM, changin from active sync to my storage etc, but no joy.

OK I have had this phone for 9 months and I can honestly say it is the biggest load of crap I have ever come across in the techy world. WHAT it can do is simply amazing, but HOW it does it is complete sh#t. I have never ever come across anything so badly designed. Last night it woke me up at 3am making weird noises, and sometimes it starts singing at me when I am in a meeting. As for making a phone call, why I would be better jumping on my bike and cycling upriver. Agggghhh!

My i900 drives me insane - for a sleek looking handset is extremely complicated and complex.
My issue is that i cant automatically save anything that is sent via BT to my storage - which means that i have to manually move everything, which is frustrating and time consuming.
I contacted Samsung, and was 'assisted' by a rep who, when asked the above question - abruptly advised me "There is nothing you can do?"
Can someone help me ? or is he right ?
If i had known this, and that a degree is required to work the phone - then i probably wouldnt have purchased it.
