Samsung Exclaim SPH-M550 Front View

Music

I just bought a samsung exclaim from sprint this week and I have no clue how to download music from my computer. I tried downloading music on straight to the micro sd card on my laptop but it would not let me. I am not the most tech savy in the world so if anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

you have to format the memory card. You can do this while its in your phone. Then u can put the music straight on the card. I had this problem i just got the phone about a week ago. Works awesome now.

Save the time formatting and go into the micro sd card and make a new folder named Music. It should work.

You can use WMA or mp3. I think you can use ACC also but I haven't tried it yet. I know it also uses ACC+, But that's the crap you have to buy from the sprint music store.

If you put the music in the folder labeled media like "this guy" stated (if you don't have one make one) then you can access it from: Home - Entertainment - Music. This way your incoming phone calls and music player work together, (the player automatically mutes for a incoming call and resumes when completed etc.) where as if you access your music through Mass Storage > File Manager >etc. you will lose many player features. Remember do not put your music in the music folder. Put the music in the folder labeled "media". And again, if you don't have one make one! The music folder is for sprint music store downloads. There is a place in the manual where they tell you this but its very hard to find, after all they would much rather have you buy all your music from them. Happy listening!
