The Instinct S30 gets .1 inch screen upgrade over the regular Samsung Instinct. Features and specifications wise, the S30 has pretty much all the features of the regular Samsung Instinct. The S30 is corporate users friendly, as the phone supports calendar syncs with Exchange and Lotus Notes.

It is just the same phone like first version of Samsung Instinct. The only thing that I like about it is it is slimmer and sexier.

I just upgraded from the lotus, and before the lotus was with the Iphone from cingular. The s30 is hard to text, the touch screen feels weird so when you type q it puts w or a. And the whole, having to press he power button to be able to get to the main screen is hard. I have turned off my phone multiple times... And the whole Fav screen pops up when you pres home, which is cool, but since I use alot of different things, I dont see a point in using that screen, so eac time you gotta click on apps or the main tab. Also doesnt do 3G... And since it doesnt, the Navigation keeps saying it needs a better view of the sky.. lol Overall, seems like a cheaply built phone, and i WILL be paying the 35$ restocking fee to return it. Maybe I just think that with a tocuh screen it should be functonial as well as cool... But this phone only has the cool down.

Try uploading the music to your flash memory card then go to the ring tone selection screen and see if you can assign your own file to it.
