Samsung SGH-A657 is a candy-bar shaped rugged phone that is built specially to endure severe environmental conditions. The phone is military certified against dust, shock, vibration, raid, humidity, solar radiation, and altitude and temperature extremes. Released for AT&T wireless in United States, the A657 phone supports AT&T’s not-so-popular push-to-talk service, which is Sprint Nextel’s strength. This Samsung phone has a built-in flashlight and rubberized handle.
Besides push-to-talk, this Samsung phone has an array of features that would get users more connected, and have some fun. Its features include mobile-email, A-GPS for GPS navigation system, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, AT&T Cellular Video support, and a microSD memory expansion slot.
